Please keep in mind; not all available pets will be able to attend the event, so please contact us in advance if there is a particular pet you’re hoping to meet and we’ll try our best to see if they can make it!

The City of Kirkland Parks and Community Services Department is excited to host the 4^th annualGo Dog, Go! Kirkland Canine Festival onSaturday, July 28, 2012. 

Last year, over 2,000 dog lovers from the Eastside and Seattle attended this popular event. Go Dog Go is held atJuanita Beach Park where there is plenty of parking (now that the beach is open) and lots of space to roam.

We’re also thrilled for our second annualDog Walk at the festival this year. It’s an easy 2 mile route along the shores of beautiful Lake Washington – just right for young pups and old dogs alike. Registrants will receive an event t-shirt for humans and doggie bag full of goodies!

Dogs and their people will enjoy a day full of games, contests, clinics, demonstrations.

Understanding Canine Body Language.  Jack will discuss what your dog is communicating through

her body language and how to read the intentions of dogs you meet on the street.

Your body language counts when you interact with dogs, so we’ll talk about that too!
